Khmelnytskyi National University - SolidWorks Center

For the active cooperation and implementation of modern information technologies in educational process SolidWorks, our university has received unprecedented in Ukraine grant from the Corporation SolidWorks Corp. (USA) and from Intersed Ukraine (Kyiv) - an authorized representative of the corporation in Ukraine - a license for 500 jobs in computer aided design using SolidWorks Education Edition 2010-2011. And given us license for its functionality is similar to full commercial version of SolidWorks, used for machine-building enterprises around the world. In addition, our university is also the first university in Ukraine, which granted the right to provide licensed version of SolidWorks CAD students and teachers to work on home computers. It is very important in terms of student licensed software for independent work for the course and diploma design, since much of this work is done on a home computer students. June 1st University student has already received a license SolidWorks, which can be used separately from the university server licenses (ie at home). The total number granted us additional licenses for home use - 500. Today the corporation SolidWorks (USA) is one of the world leaders in software development for computer-aided design in mechanical engineering. SolidWorks software is actively used in the world - in 2009, the Corporation SolidWorks Corp. was released already millionth license. As the number of licensed users are also a number of leading machine-building enterprises of Ukraine. Therefore, in order to prepare advanced specialists, our university provides the learning process of the Institute of Mechanics and Informatics modern information technology based software SolidWorks.
