, наш університет з 2009 року має міжнародний статус Authorized CSWA Provider - провайдер з прийому офіційних сертифікаційних екзаменів SolidWorks, що дозволяє організовувати такі екзамени, зокрема, для студентів, які пройшли відповідну підготовку в університеті. According to the agreement with Dassault Systemes SolidWorks Corp. (USA) , supported by an authorized representative of the corporation in Ukraine - the company Intersed Ukraine (Kyiv) , our university from 2009 to the international status of Authorized CSWA Provider - Provider of receiving official certification exams SolidWorks, which allows you to organize such examinations, particularly for students who have completed appropriate training in the university. Overall, our university today has certified 60 professionals SolidWorks .

Our University is a licensed user of computer modeling with SolidWorks 2006 and since then the system SolidWorks actively implemented in the educational process of the Faculty of Engineering Mechanics - Mechanics students today learn SolidWorks from the first course of university studies (starting with the second semester).

To deepen the study of SolidWorks, the March of this year at the faculty of engineering mechanics courses were organized to prepare students to pass the certification exam at SolidWorks certification specialist in computer modeling - Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA). Within 3 months under the guidance of Dr. Assoc. Department of Mechanical Engineering Harzhevskoho VA, students of the faculty held an additional training course that included a:

• advanced features of SolidWorks to create complex geometry;
• processing literature, the recommended SolidWorks Corporation to prepare for taking certification exams CSWA.
• depth study opportunities SolidWorks to create drawings by national standards;
• work with complex assemblies;
• characteristics of strength calculations using SolidWorks Simulation. Features of structural optimization calculations performed according to the strength.
• theoretical training in accordance with the requirements to specialist level Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA).

It was decided to enroll at the school not more than 36 students, other interested persons will be held certification in the next academic year. It was formed subgroups, training classes held in information and computer center of the university, particularly in the ICC class-1 was organized surrender of certification exams. Our university has a right only to organize such examinations, but shall not representative of the university examination and certification server SolidWorks, because the exam takes place via the Internet using on-line.

Certification exam CSWA, as is known, consists of 7 tasks - 4 theoretical questions and practical three tasks: design of two parts with different degrees of complexity and simulation assembly (details that also need to develop). The test lasts 3 hours, maximum of exam you can get 100 points for certification must obtain at least 70 points. Since the exam is an international, he is held in English. Neither the Ukrainian nor the Russian language exam is not provided.

Certification exams are organized for students studying in June. Overall, the test were 35 of 36 students (one student for exam postponed to September).

As a result, 32 students successfully passed the exam and received international certificate - Certified SolidWorks Associate (Certified Specialist SolidWorks). Moreover, the evidence received status is not only a certificate - each certified specialist receives an account on a server SolidWorks Certification and anyone in the world will be able to verify this. Of the three students who failed to pass the exam, two students scored 65 points (70 - passing score for certification).
