Born July 6, 1961 in Sverdlovsk of Luhansk region. After graduating from high school in 1978 entered the Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation, who graduated with honors in 1984 in "Operation of aircraft and engines."
From March to November 1984 worked as a mechanical engineer service fuel and lubricants combined aviazahonu Khmelnytsky, and in December came away from manufacturing to post-graduate of the Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation, specialty 02.05.04 "Friction and wear in machines." While in graduate school prepared a thesis, which defended in 1989
Since 1989 he has been working in Khmelnytsky National University as an assistant from 1991 - senior lecturer, then Associate Professor (1992), Department of Mechanical Engineering. Since 1995 - Head of Research of the University and Scientific Director of Testing and Analysis Centre for the certification of materials and products of light industry and mechanical engineering. Since 2007 - Professor of Mechanical Engineering. Since 2010 - Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
Teaching students with work-related mechanics. Developed theoretical and practical courses "Machine parts", "Machine parts and construction machinery fundamentals" and "Theory of Mechanisms and Machines" for foreign students. The main scientific direction - physical and chemical mechanics of friction, wear resistance and long-term strength of solids. According to research results prepared in 2006 he defended his doctoral thesis. Author of more than 70 scientific works, including monographs.
He was awarded "For scientific achievements" of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, winner of the regional contest of research works (2007) in the "Fundamental Research".
